Sport is a safe haven for me and I want it to be for everyone that wants to participate. The sense of belonging and love should not be limited to heterosexual individuals, as everyone deserves a space to be themselves. So for me sport brings diversity and foster genuine unity. What matters is that you get to showcase what you are capable of.

Awareness about sexuality is evolving in Saint Lucia; even though homosexuality is illegal, in our team, we recognize and respect each identity.
